Protecting Your Funds and Credit Card with Medorg
Medorg understands the importance of protecting financial information and transactions. Robust security measures and procedures ensure the safety and security of funds, whether through credit card payments, direct deposits, or wire transfers.
- Credit Card Protection via JP Morgan Chase Bank:
- Advanced Fraud Protection: JP Morgan Chase Bank, Medorg’s financial partner, uses fraud monitoring systems to protect credit card purchases. The bank monitors for unusual activity 24/7 and may notify customers if suspicious purchases occur.
- Zero Liability Protection: Chase offers Zero Liability Protection. Cardholders are not responsible for unauthorized charges if reported promptly. This is a standard consumer protection offered by major credit card companies.
- Secure Technology: Chase uses data encryption and secure login options like facial or fingerprint recognition to protect personal information and accounts.
- Prompt Reporting: Contact Chase immediately if any unauthorized charges or suspicious activity is noticed by calling the number on the back of the card or billing statement. Prompt reporting is crucial for minimizing liability and ensuring a swift resolution.
- Dispute Resolution: In case of billing errors or unauthorized charges, the Fair Credit Billing Act provides a formal process for dispute resolution. Cardholders have 60 days to notify the credit card company in writing, and the company is required to investigate the matter within a specific timeframe.
- Additional Safeguards: Chase may implement temporary holds on accounts if they detect suspicious activity, requiring additional validation checks. They also offer features like card locking and unlocking through their mobile app for enhanced security.
- Protecting Funds in IOLTA Account:
- Segregated Accounts: For clients opting for installment payments, funds are held in a secure IOLTA (Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) managed by the Miami-based law firm. This account keeps money separate from the firm’s operating funds, preventing commingling and adhering to ethical requirements.
- Compliance and Oversight: IOLTA accounts are subject to strict regulations and rules, ensuring proper handling and record-keeping of client funds. Law firms must follow guidelines like meticulous record-keeping, monthly reconciliation, and proper handling of earned vs. unearned fees.
- Transparency and Disclosure: The attorney will provide a contract outlining the handling of funds and how they will be disbursed after full payment for procedures, travel, hotel stay, and requested services. This contract ensures transparency and gives a clear understanding of the process.
Our Commitment to Security:
Medorg is committed to providing a secure and transparent payment process, ensuring remittances are safe and protected. The company prioritizes data security and uses industry best practices to safeguard financial information. Contact Medorg with any questions or concerns regarding payment or security.
