DESCRIPTION

Ear Reshaping (otoplasty) corrects ears that stick out, are uneven, or have an unusual shape or size. Many women have spent years hiding their ears under their hair; by reshaping the cartilage and setting the ears closer to the head, otoplasty creates a balanced, natural appearance. Repair of earlobes stretched or torn by heavy earrings can also be included.

The incision is usually hidden in the natural crease behind the ear, so scars are barely noticeable. It is a relatively quick procedure, suitable for women and for girls from about age 5.
